Dear Patient:
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are reaching out to you with information on how we are coping at McGinty Integrative Medical Center. Your continued health and well being are of utmost importance to us. Hopefully you are feeling well and staying safe.
Our office remains open to take care of your ongoing healthcare needs. Regular appointments are being made and kept. We are disinfecting appropriately and maintaining personal space in our the waiting areas. However, we ask that if you have any symptoms of respiratory infection (feel fever, coughing or sneezing, or sore throat) that you make your visit using our telehealth system.
The McGinty Integrative TeleHealth system allows a “face-time” like connection which is HIPAA compliant and secure. It’s very easy to use. Here’s what you will need:
- A working laptop, tablet or smart phone – with a front camera.
- A fully charged device or access to power.
- An internet connection.
- A well-lit space to see each other clearly.
- A quiet space to reduce distractions and protect privacy.
Highly recommended: Use headphones that connect to your device for clear reception.
Please call the office (202-882-2565) to let us know if a telehealth visit is a good alternative for you. A link will be sent by text or email. No downloading of an app is needed. It’s super easy, just click the link you receive and follow the instructions.
We hope this will be a useful tool to get us through these uncertain times.
