As more attention turns to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak globally and here in the United States, we want to assure you that McGinty Integrative Medical Center is prepared. As we work with local and state health officials, we will keep you updated.
What is McGinty Integrative Doing to Prepare?
Dr. McGinty has prepared the McGinty Integrative staff by implementing protocols and processes based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The McGinty Integrative Medical Center continues to work with city and state public health officials on the latest plans to address the needs in our community.
Some examples of our preparedness efforts include:
- Implementing staff and patient protocols, including requiring patients to wear a face covering when arriving to the office.
- Continued screening of patients and visitors for symptoms related to COVID-19
- Performing additional training and exercises to help our staff safely and efficiently take care of patients
Please remember that if you start to develop symptoms, to first call the office at (202) 882-2565 for a TeleHealth visit.
McGinty Integrative TeleHealth allows you to conveniently connect with a doctor via computer or mobile phone from the safety of your own home. Testing will not be performed at our office; patients with symptoms who meet appropriate criteria will be referred to local testing centers.
